Iyengar Certification: Introductory level 2

The style of Yoga I teach is Iyengar, we learn poses in a very detailed manner and this can be slow but is very safe. The focus is precision of alignment in the pose, so we work our bodies properly and without injury.

I attended my first yoga class with my wife 8 years ago and I still remember the impact it made on me, mentally, physically and emotionally. I immediately knew that this was exactly what I had been looking for. My mind and body reaped the benefits of attending beginners classes regularly. I quickly moved to intermediate classes and then on to teacher training, which seemed like a natural progression. When my wife died suddenly in 2018 I decided to keep the classes going in her memory and the yoga has helped me enormously during that difficult time and through Covid lockdown too. I’m already a full-time school teacher and to teach Iyengar Yoga too is a privilege and an honour!
